Atlee and His Grandmother joined for some Redfishing and to show them our beautiful Lagoon. They are locals here in Orlando but didn’t know that much about the waters we fish. So I was pleased to take them on a Summer fishing trip. The bite was good and the weather even better. Right now the Redfish are in very shallow water with half of their back out of the water while foraging around looking for food. This is truly a site to see folks!
Not only are there Redfish a plenty but Black Drum and Trout are a daily mix as well. Today the flats were covered in tailing redfish and black drum. The Trout bite was good and it’s coming into the best time of the year to target them, so it will only get better.
